  • all i want for christmas is...

    Belated Happy Birthday to Channe and Dixie (Dec17), and Pols (Dec18)! Happy Birthday Robby and Debbie (Dec19)! Advanced Happy Birthday Thaz (Dec23) and KarenM (Dec29)! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CAMPers (Himig Pasko and the Christmas facade)!!!

    ...to see everyone dear to me. :(

    i love the past few days. seriously. it was all fun fun fun. in fact, last thursday, there was a super mini honor sec reunion in teriyaki boy-rob with Memem, Awie, Danni, Pucci and Ronald. Pfag was there too. (taba mo naaaa pao!!!) i had a sabaw moment because i thought memem was with pao salcedo, eh yun pala she was with pao pagtalunan. wahahahahahaha! tanga. i believe memem and pfag went to katipunan after. (waaah katipunan people i miss you!!!)

    anyway, this year's lantern parade was the beeest! mhuyk sy iloveyou! gosh. MANALO, MATALO, CUTE PA RIN KAMI! go go go camp juniors! i am so proud of the facade and the lantern! woohoo documentation! hahaha! it was so fun! as in everyone was cheering and jumping and doing human waves (jumping). lol. and memem came! AWIE AND TOM!!!!!!! grabe. hahaha!!!

    and yes, two things have been proven and are to be held true forever and ever:

    1. the CAMPers are the best and happiest people on the face of the earth. (cute pa!), and

    2. saksakan ng mga gwapo sa med. ;p drool-worthy talaga.

    i went to tagaytay with the newly-weds auntie baby and uncle thomas. nilibre nila ako sa breakfast at antonio's. I AM TRYING TO DIET, OKAY. SERIOUSLY. i have gained six pounds in a freakin' month. (to which kat says, "da, sa dami ba naman ng kinakain mo, di ka ba naman magkakaganyan?") hahahaha! grabe. Minn, Kat, Maic, Micole, JR and I pa naman were in Secret Recipe yesterday. omg, danni was right. the caramel cheesecake was to die for. and the blueberry cheesecake, of course! grabe. thanks kat for the free cake. di ko kasi talaga hilig yun eh. :p

    after the lantern parade yesterday, pols treated the block to dinner at Max's. can i just say, she looks just like her mom. all her siblings came. and her baby brother is sooo the cutest. hahaha!

    mykel: "kim, kung ulam si minn, ano siya?" ---> THE BEST QUESTION EVERRR. hahahahaha!

    i missed out on the crispy pata demmit. hahahaha!

    miggy (usa) and kay (paris, france), HAVE FUUUN!!!! we'll miss you!

  • i am a "tortured soul".

    it's been keeping me distracted for days. i've been detached from the world i used to belong to - a world i knew very well i belonged to. and for what? a mere mark of recognition and even that is uncertain these days. what i thought was easy was in reality, a lie. there is no assurance from anybody anymore. i am alone. i have always been the one left standing while everyone else is obliviously happily floating along God-knows-where.

    i know i have to face it at some point. that time always comes. too fast, i might add. too quickly that it pulls me out of what has always been comfortable and safe.

    i've been absentmindedly staring into space for hours on end with nothing going on inside my head, and yet i know - it nags me to this very moment - the worst is yet to come. i have yet to finish...

  • spill mode.

    i'm supposed to be studying. or doing anything productive at least. but no. hahaha!

    my blockmates and i, together with dk and the other bio2 and dent peeps, went to rizal today for hum2. the events leading to it were crazy! for one thing, there was a coup attempt in makati c/o sen. trillanes and gen. danny lim, (i heard former UP pres. nemenzo's involved as well) resulting in, among other things, the destruction of one part of the manila peninsula hotel (waaah! memories! i love that place!) and the issuance of the 12-5am curfew. so yes, the schedule kind of was adjusted a bit. and yes, i woke up late this morning and ended up being the second-to-the-last person to board the bus (woohoo kat! *apir*). in fairness, travel time was only 30 mins! hahaha! again, sorry busmates for the delay. :( missing in action: samantha collado, eileen dimaranan, karen guevara, alyssa lacsamana, and samantha sanchez. :(( but hey, bea actually got to be there! yey!

    i particularly loved the tunnel going to the petroglyphs! oh and the galleries of course. gahd. i wish i could be even half as good as those artists. haaay. bakit wala akong talent?! lol.

    we ate at balau-balau for lunch. i love the place. there are twisty staircases that lead to "hidden" rooms and stuff. love love love it. hahaha!

    i wanted to try the uok (larvae) but i couldn't bring myself to shell out P270 for dem squirmy wormies. tsktsk. :( oh well...

    i was eaten alive by mosquitoes. ugh. dk gave me tips pa on how to get rid of the pantal. wahahahahahaha!

    right now my father is talking to my brother about his academic status. haaay... para siyang troy bolton na hindi. WAHAHAHA... go mari. you can do it!

    can i just say, disappointed parents are scarier than angry parents. gulay. it's like you did something so grave that you robbed them of every showcase of emotion thinkable - or at least, expected for said situation. gulay. i mean, i'd rather the screaming and everything else than the deadpan look with the serious tone of voice. parang ang hopeless case na kasi. yiii... *shudders*

    casp memcom head eder (hi boss! haha!) sent me this a couple of hours ago: (for: JAS, TABI and LICIOUS)

(the number of askers has considerably lessened over the past weeks, though) i mean, thank you for the concern, guys. it's very sweet!!! so i hope the world believes me when i say that i AM okay. he and i are okay. REALLY.

  • still reeling from initial shock.

    omg. barely weeks into the new semester and already, we're SWAMPED with work. and to think the majority of the subjects my blockmates and i are taking are actually General Education subjects, but we have papers and reports for all of them. ALL. OF. THEM. oh and we have two majors. TWO. and one of them particularly will be the death of my brain cells - sp102: anatomy and physiology of the speech and language mechanism. and to think that i had wanted to be a med student. i mean, i still want to though, except when i am reminded that there's more to the Ear (incudostapedial joint whaaat? lol.) than what the eye can see. i knooow i have to snap back to reality ASAP but my goodness. i'm having a hard time readjusting to this kind of life. the stress and the sleepless nights have returned. s e r i o u s l y. i am going to die. hahaha! don't get me wrong; i am not complaining at all. i am merely stating how things are for us sophomores. and i know that things are just going to get harder come next academic year. as kat so eloquently said, "patayan na 'to."

    and yes, i have a paper to write for humanities II, but no. i am online and i am writing here. good job me. hahaha!

    omg omg. this is too much. *dies*

    God. Help. Us.

    Thought to Ponder On: Bakit nga naman walang gwapo sa CAMP? Kailangan yata talagang mag-import ng hotties sa... Med...? Lol.

    in other news, the SP Juniors emerge on top in this year's CAMP Talent Show, held at EAC's Yamang Lahi Theater. They are followed by the SP Sophomores (wheee!) and the PT Juniors for second and third place, respectively. GO SP!!!

    i had a very crazy day today. SERIOUSLY. but that's okay... i got to drive today (almost causing my father to have a near-death experience... i still recall the "avoid the hump!", "watch the side mirrors!", "that's a blind curve!", and "wait for that truck to get out of your sight first!" very clearly. wahahahahahaha..) AND...

  • long overdue.

    went out with some of my kabarkadas last tuesday. DO NOT WATCH HALLOWEEN. putek. my eyes were closed after the first 15 mins of the film. 'nuff said. had so much fuuun. i love how my parents said yes justlikethat. ahhh the perks. iloveit. anyway, thanks to marge and chrissie for making feel that it's normal to be like this. haha! i already miss you guys again. (WOOHOO! eavesdropping man in the food court and gossip girl! wahaha!) jana caught up after the film (my saviooor!!!) but i didn't get to stay for too long. missing in action: dominique de chavez librada. waaah!!! and julie was supposed to come too!!! abet and ma had class. boo. anyway, we have the 24th, girls. let's all watch ma and the others. wheee!

    speaking of ma, she and tracy were in UPM this morning. i haven't seen ma since julie's debut last year and tracy since GRADUATION A YEAR AGO. can you believe it? i love how there were never any awkward moments.

    and yes, i am proud of midtown. our side of manila redeemed itself. lol.

    one day, i will grow up. we all have to at some point.
